• Skip the Organization and Location section!
• Ignore system-to-system validation warning message about special characters in upload filename.
• Always create a “Summary Budget” and always select “No” for Modular Budget (if PHS/NIH sponsor)
• In the Budget, enter only Direct and F&A Costs.
• Do not enter any subaward info in the Budget! Only Attachments and Compliance!
• Don't include a % in the F&A Rate field!
• Ignore pessimistic lock without lock owner error message.
• Know your Roles & Permissions: Proposal Creator, Admin Contact, Aggregator, Principal Investigator.
• Access Negotiation Doc using Medusa.
